I am not a fan of classic rock necessarily, but the this site is cool. Listen to the vault radio and hear awesome preformances from classic venues. The shop section has some awesome vintage concert Tees, albeit a little pricey.

I also learned that if you don't want to utilize the gtalk chat feature in the new gmail you have 2 choices. 1 - turn it off works for the individual but what about a school environment. 2- for the time being you can redirect gmail to the https version and the gtalk chat will not be available.

Hight Tech Breakdown of Super Bowl XL

Dressed in my Colts apparel, I sit and think what could have been... so tonight I root for the Steelers. I like Jerome Bettis, Ben Roethle... Big Ben, and the AFC. Just watched the coin toss.. it seemed weird, not sure why the officials were asking them to turn there backs?

A Sad Parrothead

I heard on the radio this morning on my way to work that Jimmy Buffett will not be touring this summer. It was reported that he may do a couple spring / fall shows but he is taking the summer to be with his kids.
This Parrothead is definitely sad at the thought of a summer without Jimmy in Indy but I understand. Jimmy I wish you the best this summer and hope you come back to Indy next summer - Thanks for all you do!

Yikes! time flies, everyday I have this list of things to add to my blog and never get the chance.. To you my loyal readers I apologize. So here it is to the best of my knowledge all the tidbits I can 'member from the past few days.

1. New to me podcast - Ask a ninja


2. New to me band The Postal Service Kevin Rose mentioned them on diggnation last week so I gave them a listen they have a unique sound, I was impressed.


3. Tradepub.com another diggnation mention that turned out to be pretty sweet. 1 year free subscriptions for trade magazines / technical document downloads.. its not SI or anything but depending on your need it could be great information for free.. Your mailman will enjoy the extra weight in his/her mailbag :)


4. I am considering buying a diesel truck / car after this information. Freedomfuelamerica links to the fuelmeister a home brew kit for fuel using 3 ingredients used veggie oil from any restaraunt, methanol, and lye. It probably isn't for everyone but the fuel is more effecient and burns cleaner than regular diesel and it turns out to be around 70 cents/gallon!

Ok I think that may be all I had for now.. I guess my last link might be along the lines of the last. Using straight vegetable oil in your diesel truck
