So everything went as planned, and then there was Caleb who is anti-napping. Argggg. So I hopped online real quick. Checked out the christmas light gone stage show. You should watch this. The music used in this is from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra which is now my favorite seasonal music. I am guessing this guy / family had a light board, setup the cues and basically put on their own show. That is dedication. I am also guessing his neighbors have mixed feelings.

Lastly on a totally different topic. If you want a truly ultra safe password try here . Each time the page refreshes a new password is generated. Obviously, this is impossible to remember and would be more of a copy and paste and paste to notepad for a record. 63 bit password? git r done.

Eat, Football, Sleep

Happy Thanksgiving. If you get a chance today, flip over to the history channel and watch the turkey day specials or surf over and read. Don't put too much stress on the particulars today, they aren't the important part. Have a glass of wine, it will do your heart good.
Brad, only a week left. The excitement continues to build.

Lastly, I got an iPod video last week. Got it loaded up with some great shows podcasts and otherwise. The display is perfect, but I am very dissapointed in the battery life. Apple claims 3 hours. I get about 1/2 hour watching videos, this seems hardly acceptable. So, I am going to drain the battery completely and recharge, which btw it does very quickly, see if that works. Maybe it is a damaged battery.

Time Passing

Much like last Sunday's post, it is well before the sun rises. Caleb is attending to his addiction, allowing me some quiet moments to post some thoughts. We had an early Turkey day feast at my sisters family yesterday. It was really nice, there was plenty of good food, a little napping and some tv watching. Also got her setup with a mobile blog she is always taking pics with her phone so it should be updated often.
Thank you to my best buddy BAM for asking me to spend a few days in San Francisco. I am stoked, it will be a blast no doubt.

Case of Mundays

2 DVD's I wouldn't mind getting this Christmas season: Office Space Special Flair Edition and Airplane Don't Call Me Shirley edition. Thanks cyber Santa's. Nothing really to post today. It was one of those days when you are not really sure what exactly you did. All you know is that time passed. Looking forward to the HECC conference this Thursday / Friday. I am attending an Ethical Hacking Seminar Thursday that I am really excited about. Friday holds a bunch of mini-sessions on stuff like wireless networking, ipod for administrators, writing flash .. should be good stuff to and at the end I get a free iPod, so that definitely isn't bad. Kind of hoping it is a video iPod, but not holding my breath.

1. Caleb is addicted to Dora and feels that everymorning needs to start at 4:45 am. This is getting old... tho I do get things done before the sun rises.


2. Kudos to BAM for getting his blog back into normal update rotation.. The CES thing, I was thinking that too maybe use those voucher miles around then??


3. Very much in a "look to the past for good music" mode lately.. diggin' on the tunes of Ray Charles and Johnny Cash.. looking forward to the tribute to Johnny Cash concert on CBS this Wednesday

5. Excited about the Colt's as the second half of the season starts.. I really believe they are touchdown or 2 better than the league right now.. good time for sports in Indy as the Pacers are off to a great start as well in the post-Reggie years

I need a shower. That is a pretty solid sentiment after listening to the new Martin Sargent podcast "infected". If you remember him from TechTv doing Unscrewed you have a good start on what to expect now subtract the FCC and you got it. Funny as all get out, rarely technologically informative but worth the listen... if you like middle school humor, still laugh at farts, and like the knooks and crannies of the 'net. First of many?

I wanted to do this for a while now and I guess today was as good a day as any. I would like to believe that this blog will be used for good and that people will find a glimpse into the daily routine that is hardly routine. I plan to share what ever is on my mind, in my heart and in my soul - your the meaning in my life, your the inspiration, need to stop there or I will owe Chicago some money.
